93 days of aggression: Israeli forces escalate operations in Tulkarem

Israeli forces have intensified their aggression in Tulkarem and Nur Shams camps, displacing over 25,000 Palestinians and destroying 396 homes. The ongoing operations, marked by raids, arrests, and infrastructure destruction, have created a dire humanitarian crisis in the region.

AhlulBayt News Agency: Israeli occupation forces (IOF) have continued their aggressive campaign against Tulkarem and its refugee camp in the northern West Bank for the 93rd consecutive day, while the assault on Nur Shams refugee camp has now entered its 80th day.

The IOF has escalated its ground operations, targeting infrastructure and citizens’ property in a relentless campaign of destruction. Bulldozers removed the landline telephone exchange near the Al-Saif House in Thennabeh and destroyed the main street in the area.

In addition, the IOF raided homes in the eastern neighborhood and near the Firaun Garage in the southern part of the city, vandalizing their contents. Military reinforcements, including vehicles and infantry units, were deployed across the city, its camps, and suburbs.

These operations were accompanied by heavy gunfire, stun grenades, raids on homes and shops, searches, and the arrest and interrogation of residents. In a shocking development, the IOF forced Palestinian Red Crescent ambulances to act as military roadblocks on the route to Thabet Thabet Government Hospital.

The ongoing aggression has resulted in the martyrdom of 13 citizens, with dozens more injured or arrested. Over 4,200 families, comprising more than 25,000 individuals, have been forcibly displaced from Tulkarem and Nur Shams camps, as well as from northern and eastern neighborhoods of the city. Many homes have been seized and converted into military barracks.

The IOF has completely destroyed 396 homes and partially damaged 2,573 others in the Tulkarem and Nur Shams camps, while blocking entrances and alleys with earth mounds, further isolating the area.
